You'll definitely want to spend some time in this game wandering directionless, but if you're looking for some of the best optional content the game has to offer, check out some of the best side quests in Fallout 4: But, as usual, the side quests are what really flesh the world out, ranging from the sad to the silly, the explosive to the small. Fallout 4 actually has an excellent and engaging main quest, and I'd recommend it to even the most dedicated deviators.
